Call for Films, 2025 Cinematic Spaces of Education Festivalette

Deadline: Rolling submissions (we will review as we receive), final deadline August 31st, 2025.

We are pleased to request film submissions for the 11th edition of the Cinematic Spaces of Education Festivalette.

The Festivalette will be held online March to October 2025. We will spread out the programming of eight high-quality independent films from around the world.

The Festivalette seeks films that push the boundaries around what questions and issues are important for the education field. Access will be free and open to the public, from anywhere in the world.

We will also host live conversations with film directors and others, please join us!
Submissions:
– We welcome short and feature-length movies, documentaries, fiction, or hybrid, experimental, from all parts of the world.
– Please do submit with English Subtitles if it’s not in the English language.
– We welcome films that relate to educational issues directly or indirectly. They don’t need to be set within a formal educational context.
– We tend to privilege films released in the last five years, but we can consider older films.
