SPACES OF EDUCATION IN FILM FESTIVALETTE CIES 2023

In 2023, we experimented with a new online-only extended format. Starting March 15th, we presented one or more films for a one-month period, for seven months (with a break in the US summer). They could be accessed from anywhere in the world at any convenient time.

We selected seven feature films, two shorts and a special feature preview with themes related to literacy, basic access to education, remote areas, areas affected by violence and poverty, as well as indigenous education. The selection spanned North America, Latin America, Central and Northern Africa, Australia and South Asia.
